Job DescriptionAbout The RoleAs a Mobile Estate Assistant at Guinness, you will be responsible for providing high-quality garden services to several of our housing schemes in West London.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
As an Estate Assistant, you will:
- Carry out grounds maintenance of our communal green spaces.
- You will maintain the upkeep of all landscaped areas, ensuring pathways and hard standings are kept clear of debris.
- Operate landscaping machinery, ride-on mowers, strimmer's, hedge cutters, and blowers.
- Working as part of a team.
- Provide a high-quality service to residents.
- Cleaning internal communal areas and keeping external areas well-maintained.
- Working outside all year round, working in inclement weather conditions as well as exposure to cold/heat and noise.
- Keep accurate records of your work, sharing best practice and ways of working to improve the service, and learning from experience when things don't go to plan.
Requirements:As you will be interacting with our customers and colleagues, we are looking for someone who has good customer service skills with the ability to work both within a team and on your own.
You will also have: - Recent experience in grounds maintenance.
- Have a good understanding of health and safety, COSHH requirements.
- Have basic IT knowledge and be comfortable using mobile devices (training will be provided).
- Be punctual and have a positive attitude.
- Full manual driving licence.
- Build effective relationships based on trust and respect, and be a great ambassador for The Guinness Partnership.
- A full UK driving licence
Desirable - NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Horticulture or equivalent.
- PA1, PA4b & PA6 NPTC Certificates.
