Team Leader to lead and support a team of Environmental Enforcement Officers.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll patrol alongside your team, provide guidance, monitor performance, and ensure high standards of professionalism and compliance across daily operations.
About UsWaste Investigations Support & Enforcement (WISE) is a leading provider working with Local Authorities to combat issues like fly-tipping, littering, and dog fouling. What You'll Do - Lead, support, and motivate a team of Environmental Enforcement Officers
- Patrol public areas and outer boroughs to identify and address environmental offences
- Issue Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) in line with legislation and council policy
- Monitor team performance, report outcomes, and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Provide on-the-job training, mentoring, and daily briefings
- Liaise with council officers, members of the public, and internal management
- Promote awareness and educate the public on environmental responsibilities
What We're Looking For - Previous experience in environmental enforcement or a similar role
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a large team
- Confident, resilient, and professional when engaging with the public
- Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Physically fit and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- A full UK driving licence is preferred
What We Offer - £15 per hour, full-time permanent contract
- 45 hours per week, including weekend shifts, between 8am-6pm
